about

“A song about what and who you see and feel in the deepest darkest night.” The arrangement and vocal style is greatly influenced by Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music’s "Song for Europe" as well as the brooding side of Julio Iglesias. The track features the splendid guitar work of Tim Breon.
One goal of the video was to pay homage to classic film noir and vintage crooners. Footage was shot at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport PA, an ornate concert hall built in the 1920s Jazz Age.

The song was first written & produced for the Word2Soul Project, then recorded by 3 other singers. In 2011 I did my own take of it for my album I LIKE THE STREET. This video was produced by Mind's Eye Music Studios and was directed by Scott Francis (see video for further credits).
