One day, on impulse, I stood in a studio control room and tracked these two songs in a medley. At the time, I didn't think anything would come of it. I play these songs in concert and thought I'd track it like this (I do all the vocals), just to see if I could do it, then mix it later. Meanwhile, people heard it "as is" and loved it (Don Hess said it has "atmosphere"), so here it is "as is." I felt like I was channeling the Golden Gate Quartet.
