DOOR IN THE WATER was initially mapped as a "4-track album demo" prior to going to Knoxville TN. "Sequel to the Sequel" is from the original 1984 mapping sessions, recorded between North Beach (San Francisco) and Brisbane CA. The "Welcome to the Open Door" motif is resurrected. The "Sequel" gave closure to the vinyl LP, but I always thought the Jonny Vee demo take had additional charm not heard in the others.
