I gave this oft-covered gospel standard (first recorded by Blind Willie Johnson and later covered by Maria Maldaur, The 77s, among others) my own slant. This was recorded live in an old movie theatre in Erie PA. Shown in the photo is me (in London 5/11) with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin--who did their own take on the song.
