about

Delving into electro-dance music, with a bit of Brian Auger-style jazz organ and a nod to Donna Summer, the structure of this song was directly influenced by the Euro-pop band St. Etienne (the song "Nothing Can Stop Us Now").

The lyrics play off Bible verses Luke 1:27 and Philippians 4:13. They are intentionally motivational. It was only fitting that the track be included on an EP about recovery and hope.

This EP marks the bandcamp debut of this recording, first issued on the FIRE CD in 2000.

The attached photo (taken by me, May 2015) is of a rare rainbow over my city of San Francisco.
