about

This oddball instrumental collaboration with has made it on to a few radio commercials and elsewhere. It is based on a sample of the Davy Jones funk-ified version of “Oh What a Night” (re-did by The Monkees in 1997) and expanded upon by synthesizer-wizard John Bechdel (known for his remarkable work with Fear Factory, Killing Joke, Gary Numan, Prong, and others). If you hear a Kraftwerk influence, it’s quite intentional. Eventually I imagined this track would work for a sci-fi cop movie like BLADE RUNNER or something.
